Its week 6 and ISACA still cant give me…

Its week 6 and ISACA still cant give me an exam date...I've requested extra exam time due to my dyslexia and ISACA require a GP to sign off the paperwork...its lockdown and with Covid on the rise and its difficult to get sign off....I did provide a letter from an educational psychologist but was not accepted by ISACA despite this professional being the most qualified. ISACA clearly not learning disability friendly. Also, ISACA have completely ignored my requests for support. Poor show ISACA...

ISACA disadvantages those with learning disabilities..

I completed my CISM course and then registered with ISACA for the purpose of completing the CISM Exam. This cost $700 or so including membership.
Great, so next I attempted to schedule the exam. I have dyslexia and need a little more time to read the questions, I emailed ISACA and requested help with the process of requesting more time. It took unfortunately 4 weeks to get to the point where I could submit the online forms to request extra time for the exam. I was diagnosed by an educational psychologist in 2002 and I forwarded the letter to ISACA plus the populated online form. I received a response today requesting a letter from a doctor (a GP)....to diagnose my learning disability.....this is very unusual, as a letter from an educational psychologist is the correct professional to assess and diagnose my condition. It seems strange that ISACA want me – during a pandemic and during lockdown - to find a GP (doctor) to sign off my learning disability as if its a medical condition? Dyslexia is not a sickness? I'm confused and frustrated by ISACA's understanding of learning disability and I suspect I'll forgo my extra time and risk failing the exam in order to try and progress my learning. Very sad.....

Exam process is terrible

Resources that are available to members are good but support and exam process is terrible.
They outsource the exam to PSI and between the two of them I had to reschedule my exam twice because of problems with their software and/or processes. No clear line of accountability. They kept shifting the blame between the two of them. Really stressful process to go through when you're already stressed about doing the exam.
Unfortunately if you want to be qualified you have no choice. So their support is lacking as well. Very annoying.

Poor navigation

One can't zoom the content, although the features on getting the journals are great but I think great informative tools are needed
